The President of Nigeria, Bola Armed Tinubu, has written a love letter to his wife, Remi Tinubu, the First Lady of Nigeria, who is turning 63 on Thursday, and her husband, President Bola Tinubu, expressed respect to her on Wednesday.

Tinubu, who is in New York for the United Nations General Assembly, referred to the First Lady as a reliable partner whose sacrifices continue to serve as the basis for where he stands.

In the letter that the President personally signed, he said, “Happy 63rd birthday to the love of my life, Oluremi.” Oluremi is the recipient of the letter. My reliable business partner in every endeavor, as well as the one extraordinary individual who is solely responsible for making each day of the past 36 years filled with joy and laughter.

“Today is not only a day to recognize another year of your worthwhile life, but it is also a lovely reminder of the road that we have embarked upon together.

“Throughout the course of all of these years, we have been a part of the unpredictability of taking principled but potentially risky steps against tyranny. However, I am one of the few people who can and will always completely appreciate the sacrifices that you made for us through that difficult and troubling time period.

“Adventure, love, and laughter are just some of the things that we have encountered. We have been through it all together, from rejoicing in our wins to battling the beast that is defeat, and we have done it all while remaining inseparable.

Our love for one another and our dedication to our connection have only grown deeper throughout the course of our time together, and our connection has only gotten stronger.

“I want to express my gratitude for always being a ray of light in my life, even when things seem bleakest.

“Your generosity, your wit, and both your inner and outer beauty continue to astound me on a daily basis, and I can’t thank you enough.”

“As we gather to celebrate your birthday, I want you to know how truly grateful I am for the peaceful presence you have bestowed onto my life.

“I look forward to many more years filled with even greater laughter and love as we continue on this path together, which God Almighty had predestined for us to take,” you said. “I’m looking forward to it.”

“May the Lord, whom you serve with all your heart, continue to bless you with good health and longevity. May he grant you his peace and joy.”

Iyawo Mi, we hope you have a wonderful birthday!
