Senate President, Godswill Akpabio and Rivers Governor, Siminalayi Fubara had been in disagreement on Saturday in the course of the burial of the late Entry Financial institution Chief Govt Officer, Herbert Wigwe, spouse, Chizoba and son, Chizi.
This was revealed in a trending video shared on X on Saturday.
Fubara, whereas giving his remarks on the burial had mentioned: “This one has to do with our political class, what’s all this bother all about.
“You wish to kill, You wish to bury, what’s all of it about.”
Akpabio, whereas making his personal remarks, went on to answer to the governor thus: “What’s the battle all about? I’ll reply you.
“The battle, we’re not speaking politics. In 2006 I wished to be a Deputy Governor, so the then deputy Governor invited me and advised me that this workplace has no cash, there may be nothing in it. I don’t know why you continue to insist on shifting me from right here and take over.
“So the lady who went with me, mentioned ‘your excellency, then don’t await impeachment, simply resign since there’s nothing in it’.
“And he stood up and began punching the lady, and I advised him, your excellency, don’t reporter her, she’s telling the reality. There’s nothing within the workplace that’s why I need it, since you’re too huge for it.
“So your excellency Governor Fubara, if there’s nothing within the battle, don’t battle.”
