The Adamawa State Police Command on Monday mentioned its operatives arrested two suspected kidnappers who have been already on command’s wished checklist.
This was captured in an announcement issued on Monday by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Nguroje.
The assertion mentioned the suspects have been arrested in an operation collectively carried out by the command’s operatives and a few native hunters.
It said that the arrest was sequel to details about the suspects’ actions in Ngurore, a city within the Yola South Native Authorities Space.
The suspects embody one Ahmed Muhammad, a resident of Tune Native Authorities Space and Muhammed Haruna, a resident of Jambutu, Yola North Native Authorities Space.
“The suspects have been arrested for allegedly kidnapping Saddam Ahmadu of Belel in Maiha Native Authorities and Buba Adamu of Shani Native Authorities Space, Borno State, and gathering the full sum of N4,700,000 ransom from the kin of the victims.
“Apparently, One AK-47 Assault rifle with 25 rounds of reside ammunition was recovered from the suspects,” Nguroje said.
