The Yobe authorities has ordered a 6-month jail time period as punishment for anybody caught promoting empowerment instruments given to them by the state.
The Deputy Governor, Idi Barde Gubana, disclosed the distribution of dry season farming inputs offered by the Northeast Growth Fee, NEDC, in Damaturu.
He mentioned the varied empowerment packages have been offered to hurry up post-insurgency restoration and wealth creation, saying that sadly, many of the objects have been being bought by the beneficiaries.
