Father in court accused of sexually abusing his two minor sons

The Lagos State Government arraigned Afeez Gbadamosi, 38, before the Ikeja Sexual Offenses and Domestic Violence court on Tuesday. He is accused of sexually abusing his two young boys, who range in age from three to seven.

Four charges of sexual assault and indecent behavior are being brought against Gbadamosi by the state.

Abimbola Abolade, the state prosecutor, said the court that the incident happened sometime in 2021 or 2022.

In Ikorodu, Lagos State, specifically in the Agric neighborhood of Iyanamuda, she alleged, molestation occurred.

Judge Abiola Sholadoye was informed by Abolade that the defendant had sexually abused the minors by sticking his finger in their anus.

In addition, she claimed that Gbadamosi forced them to watch him when he had sex with his spouse and inappropriately groped their genitalia and buttocks.

The prosecution claimed that the offenses violated Sections 261 and 264 of the Lagos State 2015 Criminal Law.

Nonetheless, the accused entered a not guilty plea to the allegations.

O.O. Oladipupo, the defendant’s attorney, asked the judge to set a liberal bond amount for her client.

However, Justice Sholadoye directed that the defendant be held at the Ikoyi Custodial Center until he could fulfill his bail requirements before adjourning the case.

She postponed the trial until November 20, 2023.
