The lawmaker representing Osun East Senatorial in the Senate, Francis Fadahunsi, has charged Nigerians to keep hope alive and pray for peace to reign in Nigeria.
The charge was contained in his New year message,which was made available to newsmen in Osogbo.
Fadahunsi said if hope is what has kept most Nigerians till this moment, it should be relied on for the rest of the APC regime by Nigerians, as the end draws nearer for the present administration at federal level.
The statement read in parts, “It’s been tales of woes for Nigerians. From security challenge to inflation, rise in unemployment, loss of jobs and politically motivated aggressions.
“The government has shown no capacity to tackle insecurity nor embrace more practical and acceptable ways of growing the economy.
“But I encouraged Nigerians to continue with their Nigerian heart and resilience. Let’s hope that soon the struggle will be over.”
The federal lawmaker also called on members of the People’s Democratic Party in Osun state to shelve their differences and present a credible and sellable candidate who will be acceptable to majority of the members and the electorate.
