In order to promote peace and the growth of their community, the deputy governor urged the populace to put aside their differences and work with the government.

He warned that the government would not hesitate to deal decisively with any person or group that threatened the ongoing peace effort, advising the Odioma people to immediately resist the temptation of arresting and counter-arresting themselves.

Who will we speak to and collaborate with to carry out the projects that you requested when you came here the other day, Ewhrudjakpo remarked if you continue to fight? Because we won’t be able to identify any faction, you won’t see development.

That’s not what we want. And that’s why we’re urging everyone to cooperate rather than engage in unhealthy rivalries that only lead to conflict.

“I’ve already informed the police commissioner that until we complete our work, no one should be charged with a crime based on the recent arrests. Therefore, there shouldn’t be any more arrests on your end either.

“Anyone who is arrested again will have no choice but to have you declared a persona non grata and an enemy of the state,” the government warned.
