Breaking: Dangerous fire destroys Lagos market

On Lagos Island, portions of the Balogun Market have been destroyed by a fire.

The occurrence took place early on Tuesday morning. However, the origin of the fire and its severity are still unknown at this time.

An eyewitness claims that the fire began at location “32 Balogun plaza, where ladies’ shoes dealers are.”

A media aide for the governor of the state named Jubril Gawat commented, after the incident was confirmed, that “two divisions of our Lagos Fire Service are on ground already.”

He stated that firefighters from the United Bank of Africa are also assisting the operatives from the state in their efforts to put out the fire.
