Dominica Republic appoints Nigerian singer, Sinach as Ambassador

The government of the Commonwealth of Dominica has appointed Nigerian Gospel singer, Osinachi Joseph, better known as Sinach, as a global ambassador.

The ‘Way Maker’ crooner announced this on her Instagram page late Thursday.

According to her, the appointment was contained in a letter signed by Roosevelt Skerrit, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica, and presented by Janet Charles, the Acting High Commissioner of the Commonwealth of Dominica in the UK.

The Prime Minister noted that the role was created to repackage and reposition Dominica as a premier tourist and investment destination.

Sinach has a large global following, especially in the Caribbean, warming her way into the hearts of fans with songs like ‘Way Maker’, ‘I Know Who I’m’, and a host of others.
