Once again, the Kogi State campaign office of Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate Murtala Ajaka has reportedly been stormed by gunmen who are purportedly employed by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
It was discovered that an incident occurred on Tuesday morning against the SDP campaign office, which is located in the state’s Ofu Local Government Area.

This occurs just a few days after several thugs claiming to be APC employees terrorized and interrupted the SDP’s gubernatorial campaign gathering in Ejule, the state’s Ofu local government area.

During the last incident, the thugs are alleged to have destroyed cars and other items valued at millions of naira.

Additionally, Pastor Sunday Atabo, the SDP’s zonal chairman, reported that early on Saturday his car was vandalized and his residence was raided.

An eyewitness who attested to the current attack posted images of criminals smashing glass panes on social media. There were two “bullets” at the site that were reportedly utilized by the shooters.

“Unknown gunmen, suspected to be APC goons, attacked and broke glass windows in the MuriSam Campaign office of the Ofu Local Government.”

The eyewitness said on his Facebook page, “Glory be to God for the life of my family and I, as APC thugs shot sporadically in my house and destroyed all the glass windows.”

Since then, the SDP campaign council has urged President Bola Tinubu and law enforcement to act quickly to stop the drift in Kogi State before it undermines the state’s democracy.
