Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Nasarawa State football administrator Haladu Akwashiki has formally broken with the PDP and joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a letter dated January 31, Akwashiki stated that his decision to switch parties was primarily motivated by the APC’s outstanding leadership at all levels.
The letter was sent to the APC Chairman in his ward, Nassarawa Eggon, in the state’s Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area.
Akwashiki vowed to remain faithful to the APC’s leadership.
He promised in his letter to actively contribute his share to the growth and advancement of the APC at all levels of governance.
