The former vice president disclosed this in Gombe at the PDP campaign rally, saying, “I will wipe out Boko Haram. Boko Haram is nothing. We have wiped out Boko Haram in Adamawa.”

He further asked “What will stop us from doing same in Borno or Yobe or anywhere they are in this country?”

Atiku also promised that this administration would builds roads that will connect the North-East, although he said his pledges cannot be fulfilled without peace hence a PDP government would create wealth and jobs.

While also promising to ensure that the electricity to be produced from Dakin-Kowa Dam feeds the entire North-East, Atiku added that his administration would boost farming capacities to ensure those in the sector are able to work during rainy and dry seasons.
