A section of Nigerians has called for the sack of Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr.
The Franco-German was appointed a substantive head of the three-time African champions in 2016.
Since then, he led the country to the 2018 FIFA World Cup and a third-place finish at last summer’s Africa Cup of Nations.
However, some Nigerians believe that the ex-Niger boss hasn’t quite utilised his squad.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is stalling on talks over a new contract.
Rohr’s current contract runs out in June 2020 but the NFF is yet to resume talks over a new deal.
“I don’t know what will happen and nothing has been discussed,” Rohr told German publication Mannheimer Morgen in early October.
“It is a surprise because we are expected to qualify for two tournaments. That says a lot about it.”
And Nigerians have stormed to Twitter to demand his dismissal.
