Bandits and insurgents are showing symptoms of desperation in the face of a persistent military assault, a position that is ascribed to the growing might of the Nigerian Armed Forces, according to the Nigeria Peace Advocates.

Speaking to reporters on Sunday, NPA Secretary Bernard Udu urged Nigerians to continue their unwavering support for the armed forces and to pray for them. He also praised the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Gwabin Musa, and his brave soldiers for their efforts to protect the country.

Udu stated that terrorists and bandits are becoming increasingly desperate as a result of the heated military operations taking place across the nation.

“Nigerians support the Armed Forces of Nigeria under the command of Gen. C. G. Musa wholeheartedly, regardless of how desperate they are.

“We must support our military as they continue to give their lives in defense of our nation’s peace and stability. We must resist those who act in a way that undermines peace and progress, he urged.

He expressed profound sorrow for the recent loss of soldiers who were attacked while responding to a distress call in Chukuba community, Shiroro Local Council Area, Niger State, while affirming that the nation stands united and hopeful that a brighter future lies ahead, even in the midst of trying times.

A bunch of robbers allegedly ambushed the soldiers. Another helicopter of the Nigerian Air Force crashed.

“We extend our sympathies to the CDS, the AFN, and the families of the fallen servicemen. You have Nigerians behind you. We have faith that there will be relief at the other end of the tunnel very soon, Udu continued.
