Veteran Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw has said she isn’t a fan of singer, Davido because he failed to greet her when they met.
She explained that she loves his music and his drive for success despite “coming from a wealthy background” but added that he should be “respectful.”
Henshaw spoke in a candid interview with popular media personality, Chude Jideonwo.
She said, “Davido? Well, I’m not a fan. I like his music but personally, I don’t know him. I’ve met him and he didn’t greet me. I’m sorry o! No, I’m not sorry. I’m old enough. I believe he should be respectful. I love his music but for me, personality matters: It draws people closer to you.
“Yes, Davido has done a lot of goods. I saw that time when people gave him birthday gifts and he donated it. That’s so huge. He has unapologetically Nigerian and has flown the flag without fear or favour outside the shores [of the country]. I remember his music was in Coming 2 America. And I cheered him up.
“He is always going at it. And he is working hard to to make a name for himself despite coming from a wealthy background.”
