Super Eagles striker, Paul Onuachu has completed his move to English Premier League side, Southampton from Belgian outfit, KRC Genk.

TNN Sports gathered that the lanky striker signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with the South Coast club.

Confirming the Nigerian’s arrival at St Mary’s Stadium, the club manager, Nathan Jones said: “Paul is a significant signing for us and completes what has been an extremely positive month in terms of recruitment.

“He’s a handful to play against, has got a tremendous record throughout his career and he’s also someone who brings great experience with him, so he’ll be a really positive addition to the squad.”

Until joining the Saints, Onuachu was the leading goalscorer in the Belgian Jupiter Pro League, with 16 goals in 19 appearances this campaign.

He would hope to continue his lethal form in England to help Southampton avoid regulation. His international teammate, Joe Aribo would help him settle down on the South Coast.
